These two(2) machines were last used in a waste water treatment system. They were REGULARLY USED. They have 87 round stainless steel internal plates each. The pressure rating for each unit is 4800 PSI. They come with Model 3800 feed pumps that have 9" ceramic pistons and are rated for 240 PSI. There is also a hydraulic tank.

Each of the presses has a total of 3408 sq.ft. filtration area. This is equal to 39.6 sq.ft. of filtration per cavity. The filter cloths and backing material were purchased from a U.S. supplier. The cloth is style # 132 which is an open weave pattern with a 150 cfm flow rate. Material is type 6 nylon. The purchase size is 72” X 76”. This style #132 is obsolete but we can identify the replacement cloth. The cloth supplier will also help identify the proper cloth for the new application since it will be most likely the new owner will need to replace the existing cloths. We still have a small supply of new cloth and backing material that will go with the units.

The filter presses each have 87 plates that are 64” in diameter. The chamber between the plates is approximately 2”. The initial load on the press is 2500 gallons and will increase as pressure is added. The final sludge weight is determined by the percent solids of the sludge cake.
