Process distillation columns are designed to separate crude or another multi-component product feed into products of different compositions. This column is designed to do both. It has NEVER BEEN USED. As a product column, it will separate Ortho Cresol from 2,6 Xylenol. Then, as a crude column, it will convert to a 2,6 Xylenol + Ortho separation from heavies during the implementation of reverse distillation. This unit is approximately 11' diameter x 151' tall. It is a tray style unit with (120) 12 gauge 304 stainless steel trays pass, crossflow and slotted. The tray spacing is 12". The unit is rated 22.7 psi   @ 402 deg F on top and 455 deg F on bottom. The gaskets are 1/8" graphite/304 stainless steel flexitallic CGI. The shell is CS SA-516-6R70. Weight approx. 270,000 lbs. Capacity 120,310 gallon. Purchased new for $1.2MM.
