This machine makes
a pillow pack style recloseable three-sided
pouch with zipper. It was
REGULARLY USED. Processes
heat or cold sealable packaging materials.
Output: Using rotating cross-sealing system, up
to 800 packs/min. Using Longdwell sealing, up to
250 packs/min. The last products ran at 50 PPM
and ranged in size from
200-400mm
(length), 250-330mm (width), 8-25mm (height).
Infeed conveyor included. Gas flush not
included, but optional through from OEM.
Electrical: AB PLC, 230/280V/3Ph.
Special features
- Longdwell sealing system with oscillating
cross seal jaws for tight seals.
- Special zipper recess in the cross-seal
area.
- Servo-machine with shield drive and
touch-screen operation.
- Separate product and drive components.
System was purchased new in 2002 for
$575,000.
